Party hopping

I finally get a weekend off! I'm going to San Diego for Murriel's Bachelorette party. Then the next morning I'm hopping on a plane to Las Vegas to party it up there one night also with Cheryl, Cherise, and friends. Then I'm coming back home so I can watch Russell Peter and friends at the Grove in Anaheim. I'm looking forward to a weekend to finally let loose again. School is going to start back again in a month and the idea has been knocking on my door since I paid registered for classes and paid tuition. So no sleep for awhile it seems, but oh well. I'm going to have fun and there is no stopping me!

For the past two weeks, I've been somewhat isolated and on opposite schedules of those closest to me. I haven't seen my mom in days and I live with her! I haven't seen my cousins in awhile and I'm not sure when I will see them next. At least I got to hang out with some of my friends lately such as Pooja, Poonum, Mina, Joy, and Jen. Work is pretty much the same. Same busy stuff. Different day.

I still have to pack, run errands, make phone calls, clean my room. In the meantime, I should sleep or else I'm going to crash later.

Anticipation

In less than 12 hours it will be 2009. I will not have an official countdown this year since I'll be working tonight. Working my first New Year's Eve. I don't mind because I had my first Christmas off. I've celebrated NYE in different ways over the years: Vegas, clubbing in LA, partying with family, partying with friends. I've seen lots of family and friends 6 different times over the course of 2 weeks. I won't feel deprived out of this one holiday. I don't believe in new year's resolutions, but I do believe in having personal goals and aspirations. My family = kickback (size) My family + our friends = PAARTAY then mix that with... 3 (1.75 liter) bottles vodka (2 Grey Goose, 1 Kirkland) - gone 1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila - gone 1 bottle Absolute vodka - gone 1 bottle Kahluhua - half gone 3 (1 liter) bottles Bacardi Rum - 3/4 gone 1 bottle Bacardi 151 - 1/4 gone 1 bottle Hennessey - gone Several dozens cans and bottles of different beers (too many to list) - gone Add some food and snacks Add magic mic karoake + DJ (in the garage) + chillen in the backyard = lots of happy fun loving drunk peeps + lots of nonstop moments of fun til 4 am + one super drunk cousin (birthday boy) [also 12 or more large bags of trash (6 fit outside the large trash bin) + lots of cleanup (blah)] but overall...GOOD TIMES
