Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! I'm so thankful to have an amazing mother. I'm foregoing sleep to spend time with her and the fam before working my 12 shift tonight. If that's not love, I don't know what is.

My family = kickback (size) My family + our friends = PAARTAY then mix that with... 3 (1.75 liter) bottles vodka (2 Grey Goose, 1 Kirkland) - gone 1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila - gone 1 bottle Absolute vodka - gone 1 bottle Kahluhua - half gone 3 (1 liter) bottles Bacardi Rum - 3/4 gone 1 bottle Bacardi 151 - 1/4 gone 1 bottle Hennessey - gone Several dozens cans and bottles of different beers (too many to list) - gone Add some food and snacks Add magic mic karoake + DJ (in the garage) + chillen in the backyard = lots of happy fun loving drunk peeps + lots of nonstop moments of fun til 4 am + one super drunk cousin (birthday boy) [also 12 or more large bags of trash (6 fit outside the large trash bin) + lots of cleanup (blah)] but overall...GOOD TIMES

July 31,2008 11:17am I'm on flight 3683 flying from LAX to SFO. This is my first trip enjoying my iPhone on a flight. I had 5 hours of sleep last night. Had dinner with Jamie, Karina, and Geoffrey. We ate those Japanese pancakes. My first time having those and they were pretty good. I love trying new food. Jamie's birthday was yesterday and it was fun hanging out. Just talking about life and talking about stuff we don't always discuss. It just reminded me of how much I miss being around friends who know me well, understand me, care, and accept me. I've been on small talk mode for awhile. I do miss the feeling of closeness. I have my family though like my cousins at least and for that I'm more than grateful. I'm also grateful to reconnect with old friends like Cheryl. I just feeling like the overstretching of myself is slowly emerging. I don't mind hanging out with different people, but it's becoming challenging to decide who to hang out with....
