Hello November

Happy Belated Halloween! Halloween was fun hanging out with family and friends at my Ate Abby and Kuya Daniel's pad. I don't have any pictures from Halloween because I forgot to take my camera battery off the charger! My cousins were like, "We don't have any pictures from last night. No one brought their camera." I guess everyone relies on me to have my camera ready to go at every event. Too bad about the battery. It was fun to dress up for the second year in a row. I'm really making up for what I didn't get to do when I was younger during Halloween time. So I wore the costume that I posted above. It's called Christy Creme. Get it? Christy is similar to Kristle. I chose it because it had a connection to my name, it was comfortable to wear, cute, and relates to yummy food. Anyhow, I also bought 2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, which I had 2 donuts. Yum...it was so good. A lot of people had cool costumes. I'm definitely looking forward to next year.

I'm finishing the last 6 weeks of school. All my assignments are beginning to compound. Several papers, multiple group projects, multiple solo projects, and upcoming tests. I'm perpetually behind! I was somewhat productive yesterday. I can hardly wait to get this stuff out of the way so I have more room to breathe. I have plenty of stuff to keep myself occupied.

My nephew Ethan is walking more nowadays! He's smiling more and he's more playful. I just adore him. He was the cutest panda for Halloween. I just look forward to watching grow more with each passing day.

I'm also looking forward to two upcoming Vegas trips. It's time to return to Sin City to play! Not gambling. I'm not much of a gambler, although I do play video poker, video blackjack, and some slots. I'm talking about time to go out, live it up in style, and enjoy every moment with friends and family. Thinking about Vegas is distracting toward focusing on my studies, but at least it's given me a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to school and work.

As far as work goes, it's going well. I want a change after I graduate with my BSN. I realized I would be making my life too difficult right now if I wanted to change jobs while I'm taking my last nursing course in nursing leadership. It would be too hard because I need the flexibility of scheduling and stability of a familiar environment so that I can make through and finish school. As much as I love working nights and ICU nursing, my body can hardly handle adjust to nights on a part time basis. In the meantime, I'm gonna tough it out. Survival job status is official. I know it's going to pay off in the long run. I'm thankful to have a stable job right now. I just hope I can sustain my sanity until I graduate.

Laker season is officially here! Two wins down and many more to go! Can't wait to go to the games at Staples Center already.
