Party girl
Lately, I've been getting a lot of comments from various people about my party life. People saying things like, "I don't party like Kristle does. I can't hang like that." I mean I usually don't take it seriously because I'm sure some times its just a joke to tease me and I don't mind. I have a GREAT life and I'm sure people notice. But the other times, when it's just emphasized more than I'm used to I'm left to wonder if that's the main impression some people get of me (see below).
So I was curious to compare what actual definitions of a party girl were out there. I googled "party girl" and dictionary.com refers to is as being "an attractive young woman hired to attend parties and entertain men." I have never been paid to go to parties. So technically I don't fit this definition. On the other hand, I have enjoyed the benefits of a party girl: entrance into clubs for free with no wait, VIP treatment, free drinks, free food, people approach me to go to their clubs. People even gravitate to me to know where to go, how to get in, or just try to get in the club with me (another story haha). I would suggest the definition of a party girl to be someone who goes out a lot and knows how to have a good time no matter where she is. It's definitely a state of mind. Attitude is everything. For those who are actually interested in a party girl lifestyle, wikiHow actually has one of those how to guides. Some of the suggestions are actually good, but I mainly suggest it for laughs.
So what if I project this party girl image. Oh well. I know I take a lot of pictures with drinks in them. But that doesn't mean I'm an alcoholic! I go out every now and then, but I have my limits. And so what if I want to remember what a great life I have by taking pictures, pictures are fun. This is just a phase of my life and only temporary. I'm enjoying my mid-twenties to the fullest. I have so much fun with my family and friends it would be a waste to take any moment with them for granted! It's not so much about the party, it's the people I enjoy it with. And for that reason alone, I feel like one of the luckiest girls alive. I'm using my current part time work status to my advantage so I can go to shows and watch games while I actually have the nights of to go. In addition to that, I also love meeting and getting to know new people. Of course I only enjoy this to a certain limit. New friends, new connections are great. You just never know where life will take you, who knows who, and who will be that person who connects you to the next big opportunity or new direction in life.
